Digipack and poster reaserch




codes and conventions of a digipak:
- The name of the Artist
- The name of the Album
- Tracklisting (include bonus extra's such as 'behind the scenes' and/or 'making of' features)

- Pictures of the band members or relevant visual imagery to sell the band (must be a different image to those used on the magazine ad) and it must be manipulated in some way (effect)

here are some conventional indie rock band poster and CD covers.
with arctic monkeys being a band similar to the type of style as the retrospectives, there album covers and posters all consist of having all members in the band. the use of black and white colouring has also been included so that the colours would not seem biased in terms of having a very masiciline or feminine colour
here is another album cover of one of jessie j's albums, immediately we see that the type of music is more aimed to a female audience, also by the way she looks in the photo she seems more of like a glamorous artist.
